11 AM – Solar Options for Whatcom County – presented by Joshua Miller of Western Solar Inc.  Solar works in Whatcom County and you can take advantage of State, Federal and Local solar incentives to install a cost effective renewable energy system on your home or business. 11 AM – Green Building & Design 101 – Presented by Rose Lathrop of  Aiki Homes, you will learn the fundaments of building for a green future 11 AM – Creating a Show Garden – members of the Whatcom Horticultural Society will lead you through the process of transforming your yard into the gem of your neighborhood.   Featuring photos from previous Whatcom Horticultural Garden Tours.
12 Noon -- Built Green® presentations --Jeff Caldwell of Heating Green, "Radiant Heat – Applications and Advantages”.   Josh Baldwin of Quantum Construction discusses, "Degrees of Green”. 12 Noon -- Builder Roundtable – Rose Lathrop, Jim Caldwell  and other representatives of Built Green®  "Built Green & Your Remodel or Addition”.

12 Noon --  Fruit Tree & Berry Selection/Pruning Demo -- Larry Clark of Bakerview Nursery will discuss the best fruit tree & berry varieties that do the best in our area such as apples, pears, plums, raspberries, strawberries and more for your home gardens. Plus learn about soils, nutrients and pruning techniques for the best harvests.

1 PM – RE Made Benches -- Eberhard Eichner of The RE Store gives a practical demonstration of repurposing materials for home and garden furniture 1 PM --  Grow Your Own Veggies for the Health of It! -- Bakerview Nursery & Garden Center’s own Chuck McClung will discuss the best & easy to grow vegetable varieties for our area, plus how to plant them and care for them to get the best harvest. Soil preparation, nutrients and best watering  practices will be covered. Discover the health benefits to  gardening and growing your own vegetables!

1 PM – Puget Sound Energy presents Energy Advisor CJ Conner with guiding tips on preventing energy waste.

2 PM --  Landscape Designs – Certified nursery consultant, Craig Corliss of Home Depot will share  his insights into how to identify the basic principles of landscape design and identify plants that grow well in specific zones

2 PM – What is an Energy Audit?  -- Jeff Mack of Bellingham Bay Builders.  Jeff, as a professional  energy auditor and home builder will discuss the science and benefits of an energy audit.

Find out how to make your home healthy, with NASA Inspired Space Technology; Jacquie Scott Certified kitchen & bath designer and Certified Aging In Place Specialist from Legacy Kitchen & Bath – "Green Kitchens & Baths”.

5 PM -- Ultra Efficiency Ductless Heat pumps - New Heating Technology Update - Application, Benefits, Savings -- Barron Heating and Air Conditioning’s Wes Diskin will describe the basics of what a Ductless Heat Pump is, how it works in existing homes and what level of savings homeowners can expect.
