Unfortunately a lot of people in private homes and businesses in our community will be needing help with flood damage repairs in the coming days. The BIAWC and it's members would like to help by giving you names of companines that can help with damage to your home, business or other storm damage problems. Below is a list of BIAWC memebers who can help with such a need.

There are three things people should consider when looking for a contractor to repair flood damage:
1) Beware of unscrupulous characters that approach you offering to repair your flood damage cheap if you’ll give them cash in advance to buy materials. Odds are that’s the last you will see of them!
2) Contractors and other building professionals must be registered or licensed in their discipline. Ask for a contractor registration or license number. You can check out that contractor by name or registration number at www.lni.wa.gov or call 1-800-647-0982. Using a registered contractor and obtaining proper permits helps protect the future value and insurability of your home or commercial space. Make sure your contractor can work with your insurance company if you have flood insurance.
3) BIAWC members must be properly licensed or registered. Use our Master Remodelers Referral Service, browse the members listed below, or call the office at 671-4247 for assistance. |
