FROM THE EO’S CORNER
As our industry pulls itself out of the depths of the last four years, it is great to learn that our BIAW team in Olympia has done something never accomplished before.
ROII is back! Never has a retro program been on the ropes and recovered. Frank Romero and his team in Olympia have cleaned up claims, closed cases and turned around the loss ratios to produce a big win for you! L&I officially parted with our funds on May 3rd. The BIAW team is calculating member rebates as you read this. The goal is to deliver checks by late May. If you are on the fence about renewing or joining ROII stay tuned! Checks are coming and they will be better than last year (assuming your company loss ratio is still favorable). It’s not too late to renew your membership or join ROII for the first time. There is no minimum premium requirement. Enrollment has been extended to allow more members to get in the program. Contact Jenn Wright 1-800-228-4229 or call us here at BIAWC 671-4247. New to the program? Fill out the Release Form located at www.biawc.com under the membership tab located in the ROII section.
Don’t forget to do business with a member. Please encourage your business associates to join with us and become a member of BIAWC.
And please remember to pass the word about Baker Creek Place as a location for your next event!
Thanks for being a member.
It’s a new day at BIA!

BIAWC’S CHARITY GOLF TOURAMENT SET FOR AUGUST 24th - SAVE THE DATE.
Planning has begun for the 2012 Golf Tournament, titled MADforePLAID, scheduled for August 24, 2012, at Shuksan Golf Course. This much anticipated and fun event which benefits the Construction Careers Academy and the BIAWC Scholarship Fund is always a sought after opportunity for sponsors. First rights of acceptance are going out this month to last year’s sponsors before we open up these opportunities in June for new sponsors. However, there are a few sponsorships which went unattached last year and can be grabbed up now such as Title Sponsorship, Golf Cart Sponsor, Hole in One Sponsor and the Straightest Drive, Men & Women. Please contact Sharon Kingston if you’re interested in supporting this year’s event. Visit www.biawc.com/golf for more information.
