Isn't it time you found out what over 600 companies
in Whatcom County already know?
Since 1978, the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County (BIAWC) has provided professional support to its members to build quality homes and develop comfortable communities. Our membership includes people in every phase of the building process: builders, developers, remodelers, suppliers, financial planners, and sales and marketing companies. The BIAWC serves its members, their employees and their dependents. In return, the resources, skills and time given back to the BIAWC by these same people have made the BIAWC what it is today – the leading voice in the building industry in Whatcom County.
Why is membership in the BIAWC important?
We offer a unified approach to address legislative issues that affect our entire industry. None of us can afford to "do it alone” in an industry so vital to our local economy, so vulnerable to the national economy, and so frequently buffeted by the winds of government. In addition, we have common sense insurance benefits, up-to-date educational programs, newsworthy publications, marketing opportunities and business contacts. Our members enjoy a variety of social events: monthly general membership meetings, the annual Whatcom County Home & Garden Show, a golf tournament, awards programs, summer barbecues, and various community service projects.
The BIAWC is proud to be a recognized leader in the local home building industry
and a major voice in the world of governmental affairs.
