Tari Caswell is the Membership Director and Business Manager of the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County. 

Tari joined the BIAWC in August, 1999 as the part-time Bookkeeper. As the Association’s membership has grown, so has her involvement.  In August of 2006, Tari took on the role of membership, in addition to the bookkeeping.

With her role as Membership Director, she is staff to the Membership Committee and Spike Club and is responsible for the recruiting, reporting and retention of BIAWC members, marketing ROII and the Health Insurance Trust, and membership events and publications. 

As Business Manager, Tari is responsible for the accounting, budgeting and human resources for the BIAWC.  She also handles the accounting and PDC reporting for the Whatcom County Affordable Housing Council, the political action committee of the BIAWC.

Tari has nearly 25 years of accounting and business management experience.  A native Washingtonian, Tari has a wonderful husband and two beautiful children.  Both she and her husband are actively involved in volunteering and have served their community on various Boards.  Tari was recently elected to the office of Whatcom County Fire Commissioner.
