Brian Evans, Executive Officer, joined BIAWC staff in  August 2011.  As Executive, Evans' duties include coalition building/community outreach, media relations, government affairs, WCAHC liaison, human resources and administration of BIAWC. He serves as liaison to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors, as well as the Government Affairs Committee.

Linda Twitchell, Public Affairs Director

Linda Twitchell is BIAWC's Government Affairs, Built Green and Education Director. 
Linda has 35 years of government affairs journalism, administration and educational background in Whatcom County. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Journalism, and has been a reporter, editor, technical writer and book editor in the Midwest, East Coast and in Bellingham. Her community involvement has ranged from local festivals to advisory committee work at Western Washington University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in adult education. She lives in rural Whatcom County with her son and too many dogs.

Angie Grant
Accounting Director

Angie Grant joined the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County staff as Accounting Director in 2012.  With 14 years accounting experience, she has worked for various non-profit organizations.  She has been providing bookkeeping and tax filing services to local contractors and small business owners since 2004.  Angie moved to Whatcom County in 1995 and purchased a home in Everson where she has raised three children.

BIAWC is seeking a professional to manage membership related activities, marketing efforts and to manage and coordinate all regular and special events. Become an invaluable member of a small professional staff responsible for delivering the day to day services associated with our vibrant non-profit trade association.
Are you a team player willing to be cross trained and available to assist in a variety of association functions?
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in customer service; event/project management; website and social media development/maintenance; online marketing; sales and promotion; computer skills w/MS Office Suite and Adobe products.  College degree preferred and some relationship to the construction industry is desired. A willingness to work some evenings and occasional weekends. Compensation based on experience. Major medical, paid vacation and paid holidays.
