Diana Bailey is the Marketing & Major Events Director for the BIAWC. Diana started in May of 2006 and she currently works on the Monthly Builder Newsletter, website editor, as well as the staff to Master Remodelers Council, Tour of Remodeled Homes, Whatcom County Home & Garden Show, and Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
“My favorite part of my job is meeting the members and helping create an event that everyone will remember. I also love being part of the golf tournament and supporting such a great organization like the Opportunity Council. The Master Remodelers Council is a great group of remodelers in the community that make me proud every day to work for them. The Home Show is the most challenging part of my job that lasts year round and always challenges me to find new ways to make it better each year.”
Diana comes from a long background of event management. She graduated from New Mexico State University with a B.S. in Hospitality Tourism Management and Event Management with a minor in Human Resources. She has worked in the tourism field, executive management in retail, wedding coordination and sales. She has a great husband and four dogs. She enjoys reading, photography, and charity work. She currently sits on the Whatcom Young Professionals Board as a Co-Chair for Adventures in Success. Diana would like members to know that she has enjoyed working for them and will continue to go the extra mile for them for many years to come.
